After realizing what a budget buster kitty litter is, I decided to "make my own". Well kind of....I have started mixing equal parts scoopable kitty litter and "regular" kitty litter. The scoopablity is the same, if you know what I mean. Just at a lower cost! :)
I bought 14 lbs of scoopable litter today and had about 7 lbs left in another tub. I then added (2) 10 lb bags of regular litter that that I got today. So today, for $5.91 I made roughly 40 pounds of budget scoopable kitty litter. Yay!
Great Idea Angie!! Now if only we still had our kitty around I would take you up on that!!
