  1. I have been wanting to do this, but I just want to be sure it is safe. Especially doing it all online.

  2. Ellen-Yes it's safe!! I've never had any issues. Just keep your info safe and secure and to yourself. I do all my banking online. Bill pay, etc.

I love that it's all online!! My kids have savings there too, so way back when I opened those, they got the $25 bonus too.

Not that it makes me an expert, but I worked at a bank for almost 5 years. :)

My parents (who at first were nervous as well) opened a savings at ING a few years back and love it so much they added the ING checking.

    Feel any better?

  3. P.S. Ellen, think of it this way. As far as banking goes, here are a few things I view as far more UNSAFE.

    1. Putting a check in the mail
    2. Handing a debit/credit card over to a server or cashier
    3. Using a debit/credit card to pay a bill (and sticking it in the mail)

Now, I do all of these things on occasion. But I've seen far more fraud on the banking side of things from these. I never once had a customer come to me for online banking fraud. :)
