Magazines are a great gift idea for a few reasons. First off, they are "shipped" for you. Second, it's the gift that keeps on giving, month after month. Lastly, a $5 subscription is quite the steal and I love frugal gifts that don't look frugal to the recipient. I guess my opinion is also based on the fact that I also love getting magazines in the mail! :)
