Yay! Finally, a week where I couldn't wait to go blow some money (and coupons) at CVS!! I got out this morning and pictured is what I purchased for less than $4. Here's how:
Transaction #1
2 Dawns $2.00
2 CVS tapes $2.98
2 pencil sharpeners $1.98
minus
$.50 Dawn coupon (from old P&G book)
$.25 Dawn coupon from today's newspaper
$6.00 in ECB from few weeks ago
Total OOP $.21 and I got back $6.96 ($1.00 for the Dawn, $2.98 for the tape, $1.98 for the pencil sharpeners and $1.00 in ECB for my spring spending).
Transaction #2
Febreeze Fabric Spray $5.00
2 Febreeze Air Effects $6.00
minus
B1 Febreeze G1 Air Effects newspaper coupon from today ($3.29 was taken off)
$6.96 in ECB fron transaction#1
Total OOP $.81 and I got back $5 in ECB.
Transaction #3
Febreeze Noticeables Starter Kit $6.50
Febreeze $5.00
Febreeze Air Effects $3.00
minus
$4.00 Febreeze Noticebables newspaper coupon from today
B1G1 Febreeze/Air Effects coupon ($3.00 taken off)
$5.00 in ECB from transaction #2
Total OOP $2.71 and I got back $5 in ECB.
Overall for the week (so far), I spent $3.75 cash out of pocket (OOP) and saved $36.82. I "lost" $1.00 in ECB, but I should have $10 in ECB waiting for me tomorrow. I'm on a CVS panel and did a survey a few weeks ago. If that's the case, I'll head back for some Olay body wash and a P&G shampoo/conditioner. I don't need them, but my stock pile would be happy if I did stop back in. :)

This isn't exactly on topic, but i read an article in Allure Magazine (yes, I read it :-) about cvs beauty products and how in many cases they are better than the fancy high end ones. I'll have to find it and remember which ones it says are the best. I thought that was pretty interesting. :-)
