A Quick Run Into Walmart For Wipes & Free Chocolate
10 Packs Pull-Ups wipes $17.20
8 Mars candy bars $4.00
minus
(5) $3.00/2 Huggies Pull-Ups wipes coupon
(4) $1.00/2 Mars candy bars coupon
Total OOP = $2.38
The wipes were $.22 each (plus sales tax), the Mars chocolate was FREE and I saved $19.00 with the coupons. I'll admit, I got the trip idea last week from The Thrifty Mommy. I went ahead and got the trip ready (list made, coupons paper clipped to list) and kept it in my purse. I figured I'd be in the neighborhood sometime soon.
Even if you don't have little kids, wipes are a great thing for everyone to keep in the car. You can use them cleaning up spills (coffee, soda) or for cleaning your hands before and after meals "on the go". Keeping the pack inside a plastic zipper bag will keep them moist in the pack longer. A good tip in the Texas summer heat.
Thanks to my mom and step-mom for their extra coupons! I would never have an overstock of freebies without you!!

Gum Stock-Up At Walmart This Morning
I headed to Walmart this morning with the kids (yes, on a busy Saturday). We have a birthday party later today, and well, there's nothing like waiting until the last minute for gift shopping. Anyway, I used the last my Mentos Gum coupons that expire this month and picked up some tape and free Kashi.7 Mentos Gum $1.28 each - (7) $1.00 newspaper coupons = $1.96
Tape $.97
Kashsi Entree - Free Entree mailed coupon = Free
Total OOP for my stuff = $3.01.
I also picked up some sidewalk chalk for the birthday gift bag (recycled...read:from my stash at home). The chalk was from the 75% Easter pile, so it was only $.50!! And some Hallmark cards are 50%, I unknowingly picked out a $.44 card. Yay me! Overall, at Walmart I saved $12.22 today.
On a side note, I looked at Walmart for the Sagento Salad Finishers (to use the $1.00 coupon and mail in rebate) but didn't find them. I've also looked at Super Target and Kroger. No luck at either one of those. Anyone know where these can be found?
Another side note, I'll get $.22 back on my PayPal card for using my PayPal MasterCard. My PayPal MasterCard is solely funded by eBay sales (and a few rebates and surveys here and there). The 1% rebate shows up as soon as the transaction (Walmart in this example) clears my PayPal account. :)

I See A Walmart Trip In My Near Future
Have you flipped through your All You magazine yet? Mine arrived yesterday. Did you find the coupon for the FREE Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara? Now, it does say "Manufacturer's Coupon" at the top. On the bottom it says (really big) "Only at Walmart", that's a Walmart saying/logo. It does not say anything about "redeem only at Walmart" so you should be able to redeem it anywhere, but to be safe and avoid an issue, I'll head to Walmart. My sweet daughter has been asking for dried plums and blueberries and Walmart has a great everyday price for dried fruit.
All You magazine is a great coupon resource, but only available at Walmart or through subscription. It's the one magazine I actually pay for!!

$.19 Profit At Walgreens-February 25th
Yesterday I staged this trip to Walgreens around the need for Q-Tips and the desire for some peanuts. I'll break this one down a bit differently than I usually do, so you can see how each item impacts the total.Reynolds Wraps $1.69 each - $.89 Wags coupon - $1.00 Reynolds newspaper coupon = $.11 overage each
Reeses Whips $.89 each & on sale B1G1 Free - $1.00/2 Whips newspaper coupon = $.11 overage on 2
Q-Tips $2.79 - $1.99 Wags coupon - $.30 newspaper coupon = $1.69 each
Peanuts $1.99
Zucol $7.99 - $2.00 Zucol printable coupon = $5.99 each
Walgreens Nutrition drink $4.00
No Rub Contact Solution $1.99
Total paid to Walgreens gift card = $15.18, zero cash OOP
I've submitted the Walgreens Easy Saver rebate for the Walgreens drink $4.00, Zucol $7.99 and Wags contact solution $1.99 which comes to $13.98 plus the 10% bonus (by having it loaded to gift card and not taking a rebate check) and that comes to a $15.37 rebate. $15.37 back - $15.18 spent = $.19 profit on the trip.
Let's all give a shout for that $.19 profit!!! :) I also saved $16.39 on this trip.

There have been a couple of $1.00 newspaper coupons issued in the past month or so, making the Steamers FREE. I ended up with 6 free bags. Yay!!

I Gave Walmart A Little Love

I haven't been to Walmart in well over a month and I finally made it yesterday. It was part of my power shopping day. I hit Walmart, 2 CVS's, Kroger and Texas Thrift. No shopping for me today !! Anyway, here's what I got for $37.40 at Walmart. I saved $27.22 with coupons. Not bad considering I rounded out my shopping for the week at Kroger (free) and CVS (under $5).
Oh wait! I purchased the Arm & Hammer stuff and will get $2.82 back from the rebate (that's already been mailed). So I guess, I really only spent $34.06 (and saved $30.04). Yippee!
I finally used the Bisquick coupons I talked about here. It was priced $2.98 for the 40 oz box. Or, $1.98 after coupon. That's a good sized box and much cheaper than the store brand. Stocking up is the key to frugal living! :)

$5 Walgreens Coupon Friday/Saturday

Here's the new Walgreens coupon. I'm still not happy with Walgreens as far as the Register Rewards program. On the other hand, their rebate program is pretty cool.
It's $5 off of $20, after coupons and before tax. You know the drill! :)
I've had a list ready to go for some rebate items for over a week now. I knew a coupon was coming...I could feel it, so I've been waiting. Remember too, Walgreens has great deals on printer ink refills. This week they are B1G1 free (with coupon from circular), so it would be two blacks for $10 or two colors for $15. Awesome deal!!

My Fuel For School Rebate Has Been Sent

And I will make a 20 cent profit!!!! Here's how I did it, based off of memory since the receipt is already sealed up in the envelope. I always do my rebates as soon as I get home, so I don't forget!
I shopped at Walmart (everyday low prices!!).
Eggos (Homestyle and French Toast Waffles on Rollback) 2/$3....$6.00
Pop-Tarts 2/$4.....$4.00
Yogos $1.70 each.....6.80
Minus
(3) Yogos $1/1 from HERE
(1) $1.00 Yogos from paper (like 2 months ago)
(2) $1.00/2 Eggos from paper with rebate
(1) $1.00/1 Pop-Tarts from paper with rebate
Total OOP $9.80. Less the $10.00 rebate......20 cent profit!!!!

Great Trip to Walmart Thanks to All You Magazine
I finally decided to jump on the All You Magazine bandwagon about a month ago. I signed up online here and my first copy finally arrived last week. Wow! I was really impressed with the amount of coupons!!!!!Here's what I got for free at Walmart today:
Wheat Thins
Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs
Crystal Light
Kraft Dressing
Kraft Singles
All 5 "free item with the purchase of 3 other Kraft items" coupons were all in the latest All You Magazine. I only had to buy 15 packets of Kool-Aid.....anyone need some?
I also used my Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce coupon, free after coupon! Another good deal was the Fast Fixin's 2 pound bags (blue bag hiding behind the Eskimo Bars). They are on Rollback at my store for $3.98. Make it an even better deal with $1.00 coupon, $2.98 after coupon!! I also found the Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber and got my rebate ready to mail tomorrow. I made a profit with this $2.75 coupon!! I also picked up that loaf of Sara Lee Soft & Smooth Bread for free too!! That coupon was in today's paper.

Another deal alert!!! Sun-Maid Raisin Mini-Snacks (14 mini boxes) are $1.33 each. I used the $1.00/2 coupon from today's paper making them $.83 each. But wait, you know I have more!! Click here to download an order form for a FREE Blue's Clues book, Healthy Snacks with Blue. Just mail in one UPC! My son loves raisins and Blue, so it's a win-win for me.
I only paid $29.27 (after rebate) OOP for everything pictured. I could have saved $4 more if I hadn't gotten the kids each a coloring book and the ice cream. :)
