$10 Bonus From Coin Star & An Idea For Holiday Shopping!

Currently Coinstar, is offering an extra $10 when you take your coins to a Coinstar® machine and change $40 for a certificate. Click here for more info. Coinstar does change an 8.9 cents per dollar. fee when you get cash for the coins. But, you can get free coin counting when you turn your coins into a Gift Card or eCertificate!

Dumping change at Coinstar was one of my holiday gift ideas in my new eHow, How To Frugally Exchange Nice Gifts Without Looking Cheap. One of my suggestions was rounding up all your spare change and taking it to Coinstar. You could use the cash for gift shopping, dump it slowly and get gift cards in even increments, or get a gift card for yourself to gift shop with.

I do belive the $10 bonus will be mailed, so it might not come in time for gift giving or shopping, but we won't know unless we try. Offer expires December 6, 2009.
