So last night my daughter noticed her first loose tooth!! Huge moment for her while I'm holding back the tears. It's so hard watching her grow up (old picture...she's not loosing teeth at 3!). Anyway, she had mentioned the tooth fairy bringing money and a toy. At first I laughed at the toy part, but have since changed my mind. I think she's on to something! So, the tooth fairy would like to include something small with the money. But what?
There are 20 baby teeth, so the tooth fairy could shop for all of it now. It needs to be small to fit under a pillow, and small in price. I'm looking a $1-2 per tooth toy budget. It doesn't need to be 20 of the exact same thing (boring...!), but some sort of theme. A Hello Kitty toy from the Target $1 bin each time or a charm to complete a bracelet (maybe too expensive). But that's my, I mean the tooth fairy's, thought process. I thought it would be cute for the toys to tie together. And, I figure she'll probably get more excited about the toy than the money after she picks up on the theme.
So, I'd love to hear some of your ideas!! It hasn't come to me yet, and the tooth fairy only has until to tooth falls out to decide. How long does that take, anyway? A couple of days?
THANK YOU!!! :)

That's a tough one. The tooth fairy only brings money to our house. I think the $1 spot at Target is a great idea.
I think a charm bracelet is the best tooth fairy gift I've ever heard of! And a charm for each one, brilliant!
I love the charm bracelet idea too! But will it cause a problem with my son? Hmmmm! Maybe not....he gets $5 per tooth. If she gets $1 per tooth and a charm, he would probably be thrilled to rub it in her face that he gets $5. But in the end, she'll have such a neat keepsake. And I already have several charms that I had bought and kept put up for something special. Ooooh! Okay, now I am excited for a REAL loose tooth!!!
And by the way, you HAVE GOT to remind me on Monday to tell you my story about this tooth fairy you have a pic of!!!
I think the charm idea is it too!!!!!
I was thinking $2 per tooth and the charm. Now....where can I find cute charms for a few bucks? Hobby Lobby maybe???
A story about our tooth fairy!! Can't wait!!!! She's no longer at the dentist. They have a new "Twinkles" but it's just not the same.
Can't wait to hear the story!!!! :)
We only do money.. it changes all the time... spare change to what ever bill I have on me. I just play dumb in the morning... not sure why they liked that tooth more...or maybe there were alot of teeth out last night?? I needed a response letter tonight... My 7yo lost the tooth at school and then LOST IT! I found a GREAT place for Tooth Fairy notes...
