Groceries On The Cheap At CVS - $4.77 Total Cash Spent

I had lots of fun shopping the CVS deals this check. Check it out!

Transaction #1

6 Vitamin Waters $7.50
Sprite 2-Liter $1.34
3 12-Packs (2 Coke & 1 Sprite) $12.00

minus

(5) $1.00 off Vitamin Water newspaper coupons
$2.00/3 12-Pack Coke coupon, it was a mfg. coupon mailed from Kroger and about to expire. A better deal is the $1.00 off Coke 12-Pack printable from CokeRewards. It costs only 35 points.
$10.00 in ECB from last week

Total OOP = $4.16 and I got back $10.00 in ECB

Transaction #2

2 Frosted Mini Wheats $6.67
Special K $3.33
Adidas Deodorant $3.99
Colgate MaxFresh $2.99
Lindor candy (filler) $1.12
M&M's (filler) $.89

minus

B1G1 free Frosted Mini Wheat coupon from VocalPoint
$1.00 Frosted Mini Wheat printable coupon, from my coupon bar
$1.00 Special K printable coupon, from my coupon bar
$1.00 Adidas newspaper coupon
$1.00 Colgate MaxFresh newspaper coupon
$10.00 in ECB from Transaction #1

Total OOP = .61 and I got back $10 in ECB ($5 cereal, $2 Colgate, $3 Adidas)

I had this transaction worked out to zero OOP, but the manager was too busy interrogating me about my Coupons.Com coupons and telling me he will no longer take them since "it looks like you photocopied them", that he took off $4.39 for the B1G1 free coupon. Nope, he didn't take off the $3.34 sale price and no, not even the $3.15 maximum stated on the coupon! So anyway, I ended up with a huge overage and did a poor job picking out filler candy while my two kids were yapping behind me and I was being accused of being a coupon thief. Argh! I guess I'll live with the $.61.

Transaction #3

Adidas Deodorant $3.99
Colgate MaxFresh $2.99

minus

$1.00 Adidas coupon
$1.00 Colgate MaxFresh coupon
$2.00 in ECB from Transaction #2
$3.00 in ECB from transaction #2

Total OOP = ZERO and I got back $5 in ECB ($3 Adidas and $2 Colgate)

Overall, I spent $4.77 total cash OOP and I ended up with $10 in Extra Care Bucks (same as I started the week with). I saved $55.76. Pretty good week, right? :)

Which CVS was it that you went to? So I know to avoid it.
You can just tell me at class on Thursday.

Hey Molly! Funny enough it was the one next to CK's. Good thing class it out and I can avoid that location for a few months! :)

I have had issues at that one before. I had a cashier tell me that they couldn't give me a rain check on am item that was free after ECB.
