Spending My $40 (From Swagbucks) At Target.Com

Over the past few months, I've been using Swagbucks for my Google searches. I've been signed up for about 5 months now and have earned a $5 Starbucks card and two $20 Target e-giftcards. So, that's breaks down to about $9 a month by doing nothing more than clicking "Swagbucks" to do an internet search instead of clicking "Google".

Last night, I first checked with ev'reward to see which online rebate program paid the highest % back for shopping at Target.Com. It is BigCrumbs, they pay back 6.3%. After you select an online shopping rebate site, be sure to go to their web page first and "click through" to the store. In this example, I logged into BigCrumbs and then searched for Target.Com under "Shop".

So, my son's birthday is in about a month and I spent my Target e-giftcards on a 2 presents for him. After using my $40 in FREE Target money from Swagbucks, I paid another $18.80 out of pocket. I got him a Fisher Price Geotrax Zoo toy (pictured) and a pair of Superman pj's complete with cape! I figured overall, I only "wasted" the $8 in shipping. But I saved myself time, gas, and will get free eBay packing and boxes. Overall a great value!

I'll get back about $3.70 back from BigCrumbs and $.18 from PayPal (I used my PayPal MasterCard to pay, ie: eBay profits), so that's $3.88 in cash back. After considering that, I only spent $14.92 on the 2 gifts. Yay! :)
