Getting Rewards For Your Everyday Shopping

There are lots of customer reward programs out there. Are they worth it? Well, YES! Each program is different, so look in to programs for things you actually use and will enjoy the perks. Here are a few I enjoy using:

My Coke Rewards - this one is easy! Collect and enter the codes from Coke caps. Coke products are included, so look for codes on PowerAde too. I have a spot in my desk where I stash the coke lids and I enter them every month or so. Coke has many rewards to choose from, prizes, coupons, sweeps, you can even donate points. I cash mine in for coupons for more Coke.

Don't be afraid to pick up those Coke bottles in the parking lot, I found 2 at Target the other day!! :)

Box Tops 4 Education - I've been saving these for about a year. My daughter starts school in the fall and what public school doesn't need more money....? I haven't counted mine, but I would guess we accumulate about $1.00 - $1.50 a week. It's free money!! No kiddos at home? You can also save these and give them to a neighbor with school age kids, or drop them at a school yourself. Looking for extra cash? Suzanne, The eBay Selling Coach just blogged this morning about selling Box Tops on eBay. I'm always surprised by what you can sell on eBay.

Pamper's Gift To Go - enter the codes from your Pampers diaper packs. Not a lot of cool rewards right now....lots of Shutterfly stuff. But, you can donate points to UNICEF. Also, free codes are out there in the blogsphere quite often. In the past, I cashed in for Starbucks gift cards, an Elmo book, Bob the Builder video, etc. But, since my son if potty training, I'm about done with this program...sniff sniff.

Pounce Perks - for you cat lovers! I just signed up with this one. I'm impressed, it has lots of fun prizes/rewards. I entered codes from 2 packs of cat treats and already have 200 points. With just 400 points I can get a coupon for free Pounce Treats. If you have 1000 points...You can get a $15 Macy's gift card. 2000 points......how about a $30 Visa Gift Card? Now if I could just find Pounce Treats on sale more often!

I saved the best for last....UPromise. This is my favorite since it's so easy. UPromise will give you free college money. When you register, you enter your debit cards, credit cards and shopping cards (CVS Extra Care Bucks, Kroger Card, etc) and UPromise tracks all your qualifying purchases for you!! An even cooler feature is that you can have grandparents or aunts and uncles (whoever) add themselves on to your account. Simply send them an invite from your account. This way they can make purchases and the $$ will be deposited into the savings account for your kids. This one is the hardest to explain but requires NO EFFORT once you sign up. Yay free money!!
